The moon influences your daily life

The moon is similar like a clock for life on earth. Just like in the oceans, (ships go up and down with the tides) there is ebb and flow in the human body. Water flows through the cells in strict dependence on the moon. This is particularly strong in times of new and full moon.

The effect of the moon is not only technically visible at the sea due to the tides, but also on trees. Invisible to the eye, but technically flawlessly measurable, trees swell up and down strictly in the rhythm of the moon phases.

And just like the cells in the trees, our body cells also react. The moon affects our body's water balance. If people complain of sleeping difficulty during a full moon phase, it is not because it may be too bright. No, it is the water balance in the body that is influenced by the position of the moon.

Police and taxi drivers regularly report above-average alcohol excesses during the full moon, midwives have more to do and mosquitoes bite faster. What has unfortunately not been sufficiently researched is the answer to how we can make the moon phases practically usable. Apart from a few esoteric approaches, research here is still very thin.

Half a cup of tar in a smokers lung

Anyone who walks in a cafe without a care and orders a "coffee" is given a choice: cappuccino, latte, caffeine-free, espresso ... forgot something else?
But if you smoke with your coffee, then you drink another special cup. The cup of tar. There is so much tar in an average smoking lung, if you wanted to store it at home in the closet, the health department would show up.

Not all make 115 years

Of course not everybody will make it to 115 years. First not those who aren't following the rules and second those they abuse their livelihood continuously. This can be by using drugs, alcohol, fast food and so on. I am not talking of the few people they might have health issues they cannot change or they are not responsible themselves, sorry for them. Those they want to go the path and aim to live up to 115 years I invite to join Club 115 and let's go together.

Lockdown is a scam

The whole of the UK is now under siege and in a tight lockdown—oh wait one, not the whole of the UK.

I work, apparently, in Edinburgh. There are about 220 men at work. About three ships come into the port every week, and we load and discharge these ships.

I guess 10 people are wearing masks, some ship crews are not, and some are paranoid and do so.

One docker said to me: What do you think? If there is such a thing as Covid, one of us should have it.

It's a scam!

In Edinburgh, hundreds of people sit in the park, with hardly any masks to be seen. When I travel to my home town, they are paranoid. The streets are empty in the brightest sunshine, and if there is one person coming along on the pavement, he jumps in the street to "keep his distance."

Live nine years longer

Did you know that being a coach potato shortens your life expectancy by as much as nine years? This is because when you don't work out regularly and enough, your body (cells) tend to age faster. Not doing exercise is responsible for the extra weight that builds up over the years. Ever wondered where the 20 kilos come from? It is over 20 years, each year a kilo. Not exercising is also a great way to bring your stress level up and same time decreasing your energy level. It can become a vicious circle. Not exercising is one reason you don’t fall asleep easy at night. Keep a long story short - if you want to shorten your life expectancy, be tired all the time and feel tense >>> not exercising might be right for you.

Now go and do something and add those nine years to your life.

More to come!

Eat healthy

Live 20 years longer with the right diet.
Researchers are certain that nutrition is the key to a long life.
Balancing vitamin requirements with tablets does not help.
Eat the right stuff!
And: Don't diet! Since I learned reading there been about 2000 diets in the various magazines, not a single one did the job. Keep that on mind.

It's called take it or leave it

Except you are a holy guru and just sit in a remote cave, life consists of ongoing action. There is always "something to do"!
The way I handle it, I love what I am doing. And if the very rare moment appears and I have to do something I don't love - than I don't do it. Easy as that.

Longer life through more time

"I have all the time in the world." Horst D. Lindenau, founder of the international Terrestrial Life Management (TerLiMa), can say that about himself.

TerLiMa News asks.

TerLiMa News: What does time mean to you?

Horst D. Lindenau: Time is God. That's the only one that exists. Without time, nothing is imaginable for us. Time comes first in everything. And that's precisely why I'm surprised that so little is being done in the world for sensible time management. Is there a renowned chair dedicated solely to time? Today, it's always about being fast and faster. All areas of life are infected by this madness. People want to be fast, but punctuality, time resources, and slowing down remain foreign concepts.

I remember returning from a six-week tour of Spain 35 years ago. Nobody here wanted to believe me that the trains there were absolutely unpunctual. And these days, it's happened here too.

When I hear that idiotic phrase "academic quarter." That's the biggest nonsense. Why can't academics be punctual? Just visit India. The trains run on time there.

TerLiMa News: Why is it essential to organise your time?

Horst D. Lindenau: We live in an era where we can definitely speak of time abundance. No rational person could rightfully say, "I don't have time." It's simply a question of self-organisation, of one's own time management. That means discovering time-wasters and banishing them. I'm thinking primarily of the unfortunately widespread consumption of television. In practice, that's probably the number one time-waster.

TerLiMa News: Time abundance? What does that mean?

Horst D. Lindenau: Some people take the easy way out and believe the saying, "If you have enough money, you don't have time, or, in other words, if you have a lot of time, you don't have any money." That's sheer nonsense. Time and money are unrelated. Money is only a temporary phenomenon in societies; time is always there and will continue to be so in the future.

"Time affluence" means, "I simply have free time at my disposal today thanks to modern life, which didn't exist 100 years ago." People work less and don't have to worry about procuring food as much as they did in the past. Unfortunately, most of our contemporaries allow this affluence to be taken away directly by television.

But there are even more time-killers. The computer is poised to compete with television, offering shallow content, games, and the like. Another time-killer comes from the general acceleration of life. Everything must happen immediately. Patience is uncool and already difficult for many to bear. Just-in-time is the motto. I want it and I like it now. Of course, you must let go of that if you want to manage your time. Slowing down is appropriate here.

TerLiMa-News: How can someone start with themselves?

Slowing down occurs, for example, during a leisurely breakfast, ideally with friends or family; it can also be effective at work. Or reading the newspaper in peace and quiet, taking the day in stride and planning. Of course, those who get up late and then have to rush to work don't come up with such ideas. Slowing down also occurs when I meet people, not particularly on my schedule, as VIP contacts, but simply to communicate, exchange ideas, and meet real people. Not just online or passively watching like soap operas on TV.

TerLiMa-News: You once said that one should count one's days, not the years one lives. Why?

Horst D. Lindenau: The average life expectancy in Europe in 2000 was 63 years, for men and women combined. That's a damn short life if I live by current standards. Here, simply converting years to days creates a visual gain in time. 63 years is about 22,000 days. And then I really have to live them purposefully, consciously, and well-organised. That's pure time gain through a different perspective on essentially identical periods. Because 24 hours are still 24 hours. Even if I compare hours to apples. Nature shows us how. Time is directly tied to activity and inactivity. There's nothing in between. A tree will never waste its time. The tree has a mission and must be fulfilled within the available time.

TerLiMa-News: Back to my question: What can individuals do most effectively for themselves to gain time?

Horst D. Lindenau: Nobody needs to gain time. It's there, after all. And the same for everyone. It's necessary to create a time hygiene.

A good tip would be to write down how a typical week goes for you. This way, you can quickly see the time-wasters and then specifically eliminate them. What doesn't exist is a time policy; everyone can implement that for themselves. Put everything you have to do to the test. Is that really necessary? Then you'll also experience joy in life and freedom from stress.

Let's be honest: If you stay in bed until 10:00 in the morning and then watch five hours of television in the evening, time has already flown by. I've had some good experiences contemplating time through meditation. Through meditation, it is possible to experience time in a differentiated way. But here, too, an hour has 60 minutes.

Life after death versus life before death

Is there life after death? Good question and an answer to that would be even better.
I live my life, I mean this one now, as it is my most important one and the one I have control over.
I live this life as best, as good, as pleasant, as full as I can and as I in the end of the day decide myself.

What comes after death? I honestly have no idea and all what I can think, will be interesting to find out. Just imagine there is life after death. Would you continue just like you do now? i prefer to live now. To the full!

It’s about the fateful power of thought

My thought for today to the open minded.
It’s about the fateful power of thought
Forces prevail in humans. Supernatural powers rooted in the metaphysical.
All fear, hope, belief and desires make man what he is. Healthy or sick. Strong or weak. A strong character or a torn neurotic! Don't forget, we correspond with the subconscious of all people, regardless of whether they are near or far or known.

Creepy - Isn't it?

Smoker and the smoker lobby keeps on telling, that creepy images would not have any effect on people to smoke the deadly habit of smoking. To show amputated fingers, legs, cancer tumors or similar would nobody encourage to give up the smoking addiction.

Good laugh that is. First everybody knows, the car insurer sitting in your living room and trying to sell his service likes to show people drastic photos of car crashes. Best with whole families involved.

And guess what? The American tobacco lobby has taken legal action against people showing drastic images related to smoking.

And by the way, smoking is probably the most useless thing in the world.

The value of time - Your time!

Can you see the value of time? Ok, you probably think of an hourly rate like payment or your  monthly  wages. This is unfortunately the very limited view most people have on time when it comes to the value of it.

As you know already, time can pass by very quickly, usually those we rate as positive and happy moments and it can be dreadful long because one suffers or cant await something wanted to happen.

Let me tell you one thing. Time is useless. It always lies in the eye of the beholder, the way you look at it.

Although we at Club 115 aim to live up to 115 years and that goal may give some of us plenty of time it is still the present time we have to value. Don't waste any of it! Don't allow anybody to waste YOUR time either!
