Garden > Healthiness

In the picture, you can see how you can create a garden even in the smallest spaces. Since the courtyard is completely sealed, I placed the beds in wooden troughs. This small garden offers enough space to grow vegetables for eight weeks. This year, I'm growing beans, zucchini, all kinds of herbs, green lettuce, peas, cucumbers, and leeks. The first small tomatoes are already in the greenhouse, and I'm looking forward to the chilli peppers. They were so hot last year that I still use some dried today as a peppery seasoning. Now, someone might think, eight weeks of vegetables? That's... roughly €150... I'd rather work for someone else for a few more hours and buy the greens from the supermarket. Because, man! The value of homegrown herbs, vegetables, and other greens can't be measured in euros. Instead of sitting in front of the TV, nursing a fat belly, and complaining about diabetes, I'd rather water my tomatoes. Do you know what homegrown tomatoes taste like? No? Then I strongly recommend starting a small garden right away. It's even possible on a balcony!
