Always take two steps at a time

Why is that?
Always take two steps on the stairs when going up. That keeps the witches away (Old English wisdom, about 15th century). If this is difficult to believe today by modern standards, just try it. You will be definitely fit, with or without a witch.

Get rid of these extra pounds!

Those who carry too many kilos with them are not only putting themselves in danger. I say he/she lives quite an exhausting life. Just imagine, you always have to carry two buckets of water with you. Every day, everywhere, that's 20 kg.

And that extra weight an obese person carries around, if not more! The only way to escape it is to be consistent. Good, fast food! Bringing more exercise into everyday life does not necessarily mean devoting oneself to sports. Every day, a good walk is a great start. The easiest way is with TerLiMa weight reduction.

Empty benches

Again and again, I meet people on my jogging tours or while walking, sitting on these empty park benches. Even in the most beautiful sunshine, there are hardly any people who accept this wonderful offer and sit on a free bench. Free, calm, and relaxed, sitting in the sun, chatting with others. But that has to do with a corresponding culture. Once, I was in St. Petersburg, and people sat in the smallest sunbeams around on the many benches. Do it like the Petersburgers: get out and sit on the benches!

Always take two steps at a time

From the "white magic" it is known that one should always take two steps at a time when climbing stairs. That keeps the witches away!

And to do so not only keeps you fit, but is also a good indicator of your own fitness.

About Yoga

The general picture of yoga is still bizarre, even after decades of being introduced to a broader public. Some believe that whoever does yoga must necessarily be vegan or at least vegetarian. Others think of the bizarre contortions found only in a circus of acrobats. There is a report of the living burial for three weeks; another supposed yogi wraps himself in NATO barbed wire. Look at a bunch of women come out of a yoga session. The plastic yoga mats in all colours rolled under the arms, and they watched their stressed faces. They often don't look as if they have just done yoga. I mean real yoga. They have done some aerobics, Pilates or whatever it's called.

Yoga is better, yoga is more, and yoga is the most comprehensive program for holistically training the body and mind.

Yoga holds the key to the best possible lifestyle in the hand.

Those who practice yoga have put the key in the hole, and who then regularly (that means a "rule" set up and moderate practice) practice the asanas, breathing trained, and controlling the mind while a normal person remains who will reap the rewards and live content and healthy.

Yoga offers the best of yoga philosophy and technology. There is no age limit for starting a yoga study, and no equipment or exceptional food is needed. Yoga is so diverse, so the Tantra Yogi conscientiously practices his asanas to later drink a beer and, of course, not forget the fat roast pork on Sunday. The one who studies Bhakti Yoga has renounced the world for a while and rests in meditation and abstinence. Yoga offers an open way. Nobody stays outside.

Medication

Healthcare costs are now reaching dizzying heights.
Now, sueddeutsche.de is reporting on a fraud scandal that has been uncovered.
In recent years, doctors allegedly received financial transfers from pharmaceutical representatives to prescribe certain medications. The public prosecutor's office says there are up to 2,800 cases.

Demonstration of a Diagnosis

I was going through some old records and found something from 2004. At the time, I was on a press trip through Zimbabwe and visited a healer. She was kind enough to demonstrate her method of diagnosis. Four of us sat in her treatment hut; the patient wasn't present. In front of her was a small pile of snuff and four small animal bones, which she tossed in front of her, and then she questioned the spirit of the absent patient.

She told us that the bones could be read like an alphabet. I'm guessing it was something similar to palmistry. Then she took a black mamba out of a box and let it slither through the bones, only to quickly land back in the box. As we learned, the patient was in a relatively poor state.

The healer herself was estimated to be in her 70s. And I must say, one rarely sees such beautiful and smooth breasts on a European woman as this old lady's. It should be mentioned that she was naked from the waist down. What was particularly striking was that she had probably the snowiest teeth that many in this country could wish for. It makes you think. Age is just a number!

115 helps with weight loss

Men, in particular, develop the so-called beer belly from a certain age. Even though some men don't drink beer at all, they can still suffer from this, not only a visually unsightly bulge.

In addition to the aesthetic effect, a beer belly often also poses a health risk. Men with large bellies are more susceptible to cancer, diabetes, or back problems. Such a belly doesn't just happen by chance; it's associated with a correspondingly unhealthy lifestyle.

What can men do?

Car tyres

Car owners know this. Summer tires, winter tires, and maintaining sufficient tread. The tire may be of the highest quality. Nevertheless, the lifespan of even the best brand is limited and, in direct comparison to our "maintenance-free" feet, mediocre.

Our feet carry us through life and are a valuable part of our bodies. Unfortunately, they don't always receive the attention and care they need. I don't even want to go into all the wonderful things we can do with and on our feet. Just a reminder: Go barefoot!

FDH

Eat half, FDH in German. It's a straightforward formula, and yet the food industry seems to have succeeded over the decades in convincing people to adopt one diet after another.

The TerLiMa weight loss principle is elementary:
FDH and get moving! Awesome and effective. What's the point of all this talk about calorie counting, statistics that don't help, statements from health politicians, etc.?

Once again, for those who aren't familiar with it, the formula is:

FDH
Friss Die Haelfte

Since I could read, about 1,000 diets have promised... Everyone knows the rest, yet everyone keeps falling for it. "There's a pee-pee diet now. If you wet yourself right after eating, you get clean diapers." I'll spare you the link.

Public enemy number 3

Self-inflicted diabetes is public enemy number 3 for me.

It's so easy not to suffer from this insidious and dramatic disease. Just exercise more!

Even in advanced age, people should engage in light leisure activities like walking and cycling – as long as their general health allows – and exercise regularly, well into old age, as far and as possible.

                                                                             And don't eat junk food!
